CREABUNTU- Art School for Kids in Katutura, Namibia

Children are the future.

Creabuntu- means create und Community in one. Creabuntu- create and Ubuntu. Ubuntu has many meanings, it is a proverb and life-concept of Southafrica: I am beacuse of you, is Ubuntu. But it also means: Community, hospitality and sharing.

For Creabuntu it firstly means to share art-skills and art-education with kids of Katutura. Give them a place where they can learn, create and experience music, theatre and visual arts.

Through art education they will become strong personalities to create a brighter future.

In Germany art education is common for every child. In Namibia this is luxery, especially for kids of Katutura, township of Windhoek.
